Birmingham Pride has cemented itself as one of the world's biggest and most inclusive celebrations of LGBT society. The weekend-long event is referred to as 'Pride' by locals, not 'Gay Pride' and the whole city gets behind the celebrations. This year chart-topping acts such as Ms Dynamite, Duke Dumont and Katy B headlined the Main Stage and countless more acts, DJs and Drag Queens kept the thousands of revellers entertained. Although there were torrential rain showers on Saturday, they did little to dampen the spirits of everyone who turned out to acknowledge 'Equality and Freedom Around the World' - the theme of this year's events.
