Coming Out Article
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer some questions. The aim of this article is to explore the reasons why some people find it difficult coming out as gay or bi. We know that even when people are happy and confident talking about their sexuality with friends, they may not be all that comfortable doing the same with family members. Others may be out with family and friends but not at work.
The information gathered from this will help to inform a piece of writing that will be published in a leading LGBT magazine with an aim of generating debate around the subject.
Anyone who completes this form will have their privacy respected 100%. This means that their name will never be used - we will use an alternative name to talk about each case study. We may use towns and cities, and we will most certainly use ages, but rest assured, your name, twitter handle or email address will never be attributed to this survey or in any follow up article or feature. Before anything is published you will get to approve your input. Only when you're completely happy that you cannot be identified will the piece be sent to the magazine.
